At City Park, students have been celebrating International Dot Day for the past six years, creating a beautiful dot installation in one of the school's common areas. This year, thanks to a grant from the Dalton Education Foundation, Mr. Damasch was able to take their creativity to the next level!

With his grant, he purchased a button-making machine, allowing students to create their own wearable Dot Day art. Now, students can proudly display their unique creations as part of this fun, artistic tradition.

This grant is just one of 42 awarded this year, totaling $52,454.05 in funding! We’re thrilled to see these grants in action and can’t wait to share more amazing stories like this.

Did you know that 100% of the funds for these grants come from generous donations, including what’s raised during our biggest fundraiser, Paint the Town Red? Your support makes all of this possible!

Help us continue to make a difference by donating today. Together, we can empower our students and teachers to reach new creative heights.
